Semester management

A semester in TOPP-N involves managing four key elements: students, supervisors, teachers and practice places. Here's how administrators can efficiently create groups with consuming this key elements in a semester:

  1. Add Users and Practice Places:

    • Admin can add students, supervisors, teachers, and practice places to a semester.

  • If a user account or practice place is not already part of the organization, admin can create one by clicking the relevant buttons ('Create Student/Supervisor/Teacher Account' or 'Create Practice Place').

  1. Create Groups:

  • Admin can create groups by consuming allocated quotas for students and practice places within the semester.

  • Click on the New group button and complete all steps. The group will be created in the semester.

  • This process allows administrators to see users while creating groups, ensuring a seamless organization of academic resources.

  1. Assign Supervisors and Practice Places:

  • By clicking the group, administrators can assign supervisors and practice places to students, managing quotas efficiently.

By strategically handling these elements, administrators can effectively structure semesters, allocate resources, and streamline academic planning in the TOPP-N platform.
